Iwi Representatives play an important role in coordinating their iwi’s participation in our kaupapa. This includes registering teams, sharing key information with their iwi and whaanau alongside our official paanui, and helping ensure whaanau have the information they need to participate.

Iwi Representatives are appointed directly by their iwi to act as the key connection between their iwi and Poituukohu Maaori o Aotearoa across all of our kaupapa. Each iwi determines who will hold this role and how they engage with their whaanau, hapuu, iwi and teams.
